Will the childcare center be open to the public?

We have included a full-time childcare facility in the building of The Wellness Center for our employees and the public. For more information, visit: http://www.dshealthcare.com/Main/Child-Care-Center.aspx. There is also a daycare facility for members exercising at La Vita. See below for more information.

What’s the difference between childcare and drop-in daycare?

Currently, our childcare is programmed to provide full-time care for children age six weeks to kindergarten, with priority given to Divine Savior Healthcare employees. Hours and availability for full-time daycare will be shared as they become available. In addition, there is a drop-in care service available for use by La Vita members who wish to have daycare while they use the workout facility. Drop-in care is for children up to age 10. The rate for La Vita’s drop-in care is $3/hour, with a 2 hour/day max.

Day Care Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-12:00pm and 4:00pm-8:00pm, Friday: 8:30am-12pm, Saturday: 8am-11am (by appointment only - reservations for Saturday must be made be 3pm on the Friday before). Closed Sundays and select holidays.

Who can use the facilities?

La Vita will be open to the community on a paid membership basis.

Is a physician referral required to use the facilities?

No. While our healthcare professionals are involved in the programming of La Vita, anyone can become a member at any time. There will be programming available at La Vita that physicians can utilize for patients diagnosed medical conditions. These programs will help us address health needs in a more proactive way.
